“ My mom and I chose this place for Saturday breakfast because of other reviews and they were right on the money. Stanley, our server, was nice and attentive. Ordered coffee for 2 and received a delicious carafe. I had the chicken and waffle. Can I say that just like a review I read, the waffle was fluffy and tasted perfect. Not too sweet and I added a little butter and syrup. I could cut it with my fork. I ate 1 section before I touched a wing and the wing was still very hot annnnd it crunched when I bit into it. My mother got a waffle and bacon. Stanley explained that she could get the meal which comes with egg but she didnt want eggs so she got it like that and she loved and ate the entire waffle and the 3 nice slices of crispy bacon. I had intended to come back this a.m. for the shrimp and grits but had to get on the road at 7 and they open at 730, ugh. ”
“ To say that we had a great breakfast was an understatement. Everything was wonderful and Tia was a great hostess! I told them they should use a little swagger when they were told everything was absolutely delicious and they enjoyed the compliment which is not an exaggeration by any means. They said their owners motto is Let them eat, and they are doing it well. The inside is decorated with lots of really neat items and the place was super clean. If you do not stop here while in Williamsburg youre missing out! And if you leave hungry, its your own fault. The pancakes and eggs to order are great. The biscuits and gravy were very flavorful and the biscuits soft and fluffy. The Greek omelette was exceptionally well done. I cannot think of one thing I would change. Great value for the money and service! ”
“ Our dining experience was exceptional in every aspect. Each dish was so delightful that not a single morsel was left on our plates. I highly recommend the fried catfish, cooked to perfection. My wife relished the chicken and waffles, while the kids savored their pancakes and eggs. With numerous pancake houses around, Southern Pancake Waffle House sets an incredibly high bar for its competitors. They will certainly face a tough challenge in matching the quality and flavor offered here. ”
“ What a great downhome place! Our waitress was amazing, and the food was very good. Highly recommend! ”
“ My husband, son and I stopped here on a whim for breakfast on our way by and it was awesome! Wonderful variety on the menu that reflects the regions specialties while also having more traditional meals. The Shrimp and Grits with Special Sauce was one of the best meals I had on our vacation! Family friendly and the staff was kind and quick and attentive. Seating was available for both large groups and couples. EXCELLENT! ”
“ That was probably one of the best breakfasts Ive ever had on Christmas Day the waffle was so Airy and fluffy but it didnt fall apart and the bananas on it were just a bonus definitely keep this on your list for places to eat on a holiday in Williamsburg ”
“ Food was really good and tasty for breakfast. The salmon cakes, whiting and eggs were fantastic. I would highly recommend it. Also be patient the large parties slowed service. ”
“ This is a great American Diner. It has a family atmosphere with reasonable prices and great service. Ask for Bridget she is very nice and quick. ”
